The Ecole Nationale Supérieure dArts et Métiers (ENSAM) is Frances most prestigious engineering school. It is a scientific and cultural publicly institution which, since its founding in 1780, has trained over 85,000 engineers.

ENSAM is organized into eight different campuses and three institutes throughout France. This vast network allows students to enjoy a unique closeness with industries throughout the country.

The primary mission of the Arts et Métiers ParisTech is to train students in the fields of mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering. With 23 research labs, ENSAM divides its research activities into three key areas: Mechanics, materials and processes, Fluid power systems and Design, industrialization and risk management.

It focuses on developing products and systems that are sustainable, and trains its students so that they may design products that respect the environment.
